Discover what’s living right on your doorstep by joining in at the Clennon Valley BioBlitz.

Our team of experienced naturalists and wildlife watchers need your help to find and identify as many different species of birds, bugs, plants and beasties as we can before the clock runs out.

As with any scientific expedition, everything we find will be documented and passed on to local and national databases that monitor our local wildlife using irecord  – you can download the app and use on the go!

With interactive activities for kids, grown-ups, beginners and experts alike there is something for everyone at the Clennon Valley BioBlitz.

Suitable for all ages – children are welcome but must be attended.

11am Morning Minibeasts with John Walters
12:30 Bumbles and beyond
1:00pm The Big Clennon Snail Race *
2:00pm Afternoon Minibeasts with John Walters
3:00pm Clennon Spiders & Lichens
3:00pm Worm Charming *
4:15pm Round up of some of the finds of the day!

Our organised activities will take place around the lakes to remain accessible, however, we are interested in records from the entire site, outlined below…
